Cookie Policy EVENNECT

How we use cookies and similar technologies (UK users only).

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which categories we use on EVENNECT, and how you can manage your choices under UK GDPR and PECR.

Last Updated: 01 January 2026

1. UK users only

EVENNECT.co.uk is intended for users in the United Kingdom. Our services, safety features and legal documents are written with UK law and guidance in mind (including UK GDPR and PECR).

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. “Similar technologies” can include local storage, pixels, and SDKs. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work; others are optional.

Quick summary
  • Essential cookies help the site work and stay secure.
  • Optional cookies (analytics/functional/marketing) only run if you consent.
  • You can change your choice anytime via cookie settings.
Your control
  • Accept / reject optional cookies from the banner.
  • Change later via footer Cookie settings.
  • Browser controls can also block or delete cookies.

3. Cookie categories we use

3.1 Essential cookies (always on)

These cookies are required for security, login, session management, fraud prevention, load balancing and core functionality. Because these are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.

  • Authentication/session cookies (e.g., keeping you signed in)
  • Security cookies (e.g., protecting against abuse or malicious activity)
  • Core site preferences needed to run the service

3.2 Analytics cookies (optional)

These help us understand how the site is used (for example: page visits, feature usage and performance) so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only used if you consent via the cookie banner.

3.3 Functional cookies (optional)

These remember choices that make the site more convenient but are not strictly necessary. For example, certain UI preferences.

3.4 Location / preference storage (optional unless strictly necessary)

EVENNECT may store area-based settings (for example: a postcode you enter or “near me” settings) to provide localised features. Where this is not strictly necessary for the service you request, it will be treated as non-essential and controlled by your cookie preferences.

Note: some area selection may be needed to provide location-based results you request (e.g., showing nearby parcels). In that case, we treat it as essential for that requested feature.

3.5 Marketing cookies (optional, if enabled)

Marketing cookies may be used to measure the effectiveness of promotions or personalise marketing. These cookies are only used if you consent. If we do not run marketing trackers, this category remains unused.

4. Consent (UK GDPR + PECR)

Non-essential cookies (analytics, functional, marketing) are only set if you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time.

5. Managing cookies

  • Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choices.
  • You can also manage cookies using your browser settings (blocking or deleting cookies). Note that blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Third-party cookies and tools

If we use third-party tools (for example, analytics providers), those tools may set cookies once you have consented. We will list providers and cookie names here once finalised in production.

Current status: [Insert your analytics/marketing tools here, e.g., “Google Analytics 4”, “Microsoft Clarity”, “None”]
